Dining    

Originally constructed in the 18th century, Etxebarri has always been the focal point for the village, where the locals could come and meet over a drink or something to eat. Unfortunately, in the mid 1900`s the owners couldn’t keep up with the maintenance costs and the building fell into disrepair.

Only when it was purchased and then carefully restored by Victor Arguinzoniz in 1989, did it experience a revival and was re-opened as the restaurant as it stands today. Its clean, minimalist style reflects the simple quality of the food, whilst maintaining respect for the traditional style of the region.

To compliment the cuisine, Etxebarri offers a wide range of fine wines from its cellars.

Victor is joined by his wife Patricia, who oversees the running of the front-of-house and ensures a warm welcome to the restaurant.
