Directions:
From Bilbao-head east along the A-8 (main toll road), signed Donostia/San Sebastian for approx. 32 kms until the exit J88 marked "Durango". Exit here at the toll and, turning left at the 2nd roundabout, pass left onto the N-634 direction Donostia. Continue east for 2-3 kms turning off at the junction marked N-636 direction "Elorrio".
From Donostia / San Sebastian -head west along the A-8 (main toll road), signed Bilbao for approx. 65 kms until the exit J17 marked "Durango".
Exit here, passing Eroski, and continue straight on at the first roundabout direction "Elorrio". Continue following signs for "Elorrio"; over a railway crossing, the commercial centre Auchan, and straight on at two further roundabouts.
After 4 kms, you will pass through Abadino, and should look out for a sign on the right marked "ATXONDO" and "Axpe". Taking this road, you will pass through Apatamonasterio and after 1 km, you will notice another turning for "Axpe" on your right. Following this winding road for another 1 km, you will arrive into the village.
"Etxebarri" is located on the main square (Plaza St. Juan) opposite the church, and parking for the restaurant is signed on the left hand side.
